Jakarta [day5:FINAL]

A'kum n ello..

better i blogged about my final day of Bandung-Jakarta now. cos i don't think i'll have any mood to do it later.

and btw, i'm not really in a good mood to blog anyway. hohohohohoho.

ok.ignore the crap.

so.
START!

JAKARTA [DAY5]

guess what no-S mean?

the morning on Monday, the 28th December was quite noisy. not noisy bcos of my lil sis's snoring, but noisy bcos outside of my room, people are having their chat at the corridor. and bcos my room was beside the the eating hall, so people waited outside my room for their breakfast.

and seriously, i can't even sleep properly.

around 8am, my father knocked the door, he said that the breakfast end at 10am. so ok then. i got ready and woke the other girls.

then, 15minutes before 9am, got another knock and found out that the breakfast will end at 9am,NOT 10AM. so i was a lil bit upset. aqilah still haven't bath yet, so just told her to brush her teeth and bath after breakfast.

then we went to the eating hall.

and saw the food.

it was......

BAD!blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

only little food was left for us to eat. we were the last people who had their breakfast. the food were mostly gone. it's like the guests of the Hotel Kalisma were in a warzone. they won't even leave any leftover.

no bread.
no koko krunch like i thought they'll have(when i was in Bali, they served Koko Krunch)
no nasi goreng.

instead, the only thing left were noodle soups that were not even delicious.

aqilah, my sis and i didn't finish our food. so we went into the room. watched everything that the tv show. then my father called aqilah's phone and i picked it up and he asked me if we wanna eat an outside food.

i was a lil bit concern about it. most of the outside food are bad. i'll maybe will get my 3rd diarrhea in 2009. but my hunger beat me, so i told my dad that i wanna eat that Nasi Ayam that he asked me about.

around 20minutes after that, my father knocked the door and gave us the food.

and it was 10am at that time.

the tv didn't show any interesting stuff. my sis went to sleep. aqilah also the same. and i also joined them. i thought my father wanna took us to Tanah Abang, but he didn't say anything about it.

then, around 12pm, my father appeared and said "get ready, we're going to the airport"

oh. no Tanah Abang?
my father said "dun have the time"

so...ok.

packed all the stuff, and check 1 last time for anything that i might forget to pack. went to the lobby and saw the whole family. the big boss asked the hotel worker to call the taxi.

so he called.

and he said that the taxi will arrive in 1 hour.

1hour......
so we waited.

waiting......

waiting.........

waiting.......................

then, the taxi arrived.

so...

bye2 Hotel Kalisma...~~
bye2 hideous toilet~~

bye2 1 channel tv~~

bye2 stupid rules~~
bye2 bad entrance~~

i seriously didn't enjoy this hotel. and i had this nice conversation with my brother:

amin: tau tak, Bandung banjir.sampai pinggang.
alia: yeah?? camne amin tau?
amin: amin tengok berita tadi.
alia: eh? bilik amin dapat tgk tv ke?
amin: dapat je.
alia: alia nye satu je dapat. star world je.
amin: nasib tukar bilik.

(we exchange our room cos i had to use a room that have twin beds instead of queen-size bed when we arrived at Hotel Kalisma)

just my luck to have the worst room in that hotel.

anyway, we took the taxi to the airport. and it was around 91k rupiah. cool eh? that's equal to rm24.in Malaysia, rm24 only enough for a taxi-trip from shah alam to sunway pyramid.seriously.

btw, at the airport, got an advice that we must not let the green-clothes men to help carry the luggage cos they'll demand for tips later. Indonesia really have the rule of "there is no free things in the world". totallyblogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

then, we had lunch at the airport. we had NASI PADANG,for the last time. then, check-in.

our flight was around 6.30pm, and it was only 4pm at that time, and we had some rupiah with us, so we had to spend it to the last coin. bought some souvenirs that'll cost less if buy outside the airport. after all those shopping, still have 100k rupiah with me, bought more keychains and bracelets, and also a chocolate cream chip at Starbucks. the Starbucks price just the same like the Starbucks in Malaysia.that's the only time i can drink Starbucks without caring about the future allowance.

and..

we went into the Departure Hall to board the plane.
we didn't took this plane. we took MAS,not Garuda.

and nothing much happened after that.

and bye2 Indonesia~~

i won't see something like this again,seriously.

nothing interesting happen in the plane.

and we arrived KLIA safely.haha.

and yeah. that's all happened.

except that, when we arrived, my maid told me that a building collapsed at Tanah Abang. and lucky we didn't go there.

so, nice then.

tata.

thanks for reading the long posts about the Bandung-Jakarta trip.

thank you!

ps: people are saying my Jimmy Choo bag is BEAUTIFUL!

Bandung + Jakarta [DAY 4]

A'kum n ello..

so now. Day 4 of Bandung.

should be Jakarta tho, not Bandung.

whatever. just read.

hoho.

BANDUNG-JAKARTA [DAY 4]

before that, do u know what is gender in Indonesia? if we Malaysians call it jantina, Indonesian calls it Jenis Kelamin. you read that correctly, my dear. JENIS KELAMIN!!!! haha. pure malay science geeks that know nothing might state their jenis kelamin differently than they're suppose to if they fill in the Departure pass.blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

anyway, the Day 4.

Day 4 is nothing really. totally nothing. it's the day to say bye2 to Cassadua Guesthouse and also Bandung. Day 4 was the day for us to go to Jakarta cos our flight to Malaysia will depart at Jakarta Airport. so, to avoid any traffic jam or other unbelievable things, we stayed at another hotel in Jakarta.
bye2 bed.

bye2 cute toilet.

bye2 red uniform petrol girl.

oh. the plan to Jakarta was suppose to take a train to go there. but if u look at the bags that contained the stuff that we shopped at Bandung, a TRAIN in one of the most populated countries in the world is a NO-NO.

so....

we asked the Supir to send us there. the Supir said ok.

so around 10am, he arrived and sent us to Jakarta.
berhati-hati di jalan raya,ok?

we took a highway.

and the highway is..............BAD!!!!!!!!!blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comblogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

IT WAS BUMPY.seriously. never i felt that kind of bumpy road before. maybe Bandung and Jakarta are highlands, so yeah, you can understand why there are bumpy roads.

i tried to sleep, but can't. my head felt like this blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. i tried to sleep on aqilah's lap, but FAIL. i felt like someone is hitting my head continuously.

we had lunch at this R&R. again, we ate Nasi Padang. i got bored already with Nasi Padang at that kind of time.

then, back to the road.

BUMPY ride again. but i still tried to sleep. i forced myself to sleep. suddenly, i felt very2 sleepy. obviously, i was happy about it. so i slowly doze off. just when i felt the beauty of sleeping, aqilah woke me up.

she said "ALIA,DAH SAMPAI JAKARTA."

Jakarta la!

dunno what is this.

THIS IS NOT MASJID SHAH ALAM!!

and when aqilah woke me up, i was like blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. found out, when we arrived Jakarta, the road wasn't that bumpy anymore, so that's why i can sleep. blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

anyway, Jakarta is full of building. a lil bit like KL, totally unlike Bandung. but still, the traffic jam is there.

so, the 1st place we went to in Jakarta is Tugu Monas.

behind us is the Tugu Monas.

that Gold stuff is a 100% GOLD!

and this girl wanna eat that gold.

as you Malay speaker already know, Tugu is a monument. it's like the symbol of the country. in Indonesia, their symbol is Tugu Monas. in Malaysia, the symbol is KLCC,not Tugu Negara. see the difference in the patriotic spirit of Indonesia and Malaysia?

anyway, we arrived at Tugu Monas. and maybe bcos it was Sunday, so the place was crowded with people.

crowded; not as crowded as Pasar Malam. but more like Mid Valley when the Year-End Sale already end. you know the difference?

it was 3pm, and the weather was hot, totally unlike Bandung. but still, people were gathering there like they are picnic-ing at Port Dickson. and people even que up in this one train-like thing that doesn't do any interesting thing except moving around the Tugu Monas in 1 lap for 3minutes or less with someone telling the history of Indonesia.

imagine something like the trip inside the Zoo Taiping(i dunno if they still doing this thing again, but they did it when i was 5y.o). and they got this tour around the zoo thing. and the tour guide talked about the species that they have in the zoo.

yeah.something like that.

but a zoo is very big.
the Tugu Monas area, however, is small.

see how excited Indonesian people are when it's involve their country? cool rite?

but not as excited as THESE people.

anyway, near the Tugu Monas, there's another monument. it's called Tujuh Pahlawan(7 Heroes). this monument is a lil bit like Tugu Negara. except that, this Heroes are naked (unlike ours that clad with army clothes).

see the butt?

and with my ecchi mind, i said "hot butt!!". lucky only few people heard that. so,cool then. i dunno the history of Indonesia as much as i know about the history of Wu-Shu-Wei Kingdoms(thanks to Dynasty Warrior for this),so i can't really say anything about the 7 Heroes.

except this one guy who know nothing but dirty things.

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

anyway, i was really fascinated by number of Indonesian who visited the Tugu Monas. cos honestly, do Malaysians even visit the Tugu Negara? i wonder if the kiddies even know how our Tugu Negara look like. my father told me about the difference of patriotism between Malaysia and Indonesia. unlike us that use Paper for independence, the Indonesians use Blood to get what they have right now. many Indonesia people died during the war of Independence against the Dutch, so Indonesia citizens really appreciate what they have right now.thus, really proud of the Tugu Monas.

so wow,eh?

after all the sight-seeing, we went to the guesthouse.

it's a guesthouse alright, but the place is called Hotel Kalisma.

and i don't like this hotel.maybe bcos only my room have this problem. but still, i don't like it.

so my(also aqilah's and my sis's) room have 2 beds(we called for an extra bed),a refrigerator,tv with only 1 channel that can be watch(lucky that the channel is StarWorld, bathroom that has a dead cockroach that i had to remove bcos of aqilah who is phobia of cockroach and shower that work 50-50.

and also, we can't charge our phone cos we have to pay 15k rupiah per day for it. i know it's quite cheap, but still, we can even charge our phone freely at the previous guesthouse,so why the hell this place is different?

and also, i don't like the hotel workers. that boy who take care of the extra bed wasn't as friendly as the shy boy at Cassadua. this one is totally unfriendly.

ok.
enough of the complain cos i have more after this.

so, after unpack all our baggage at the guesthouse, we went out again. we went to Anggerik,a mall like Sunway Pyramid, except that it doesn't have any Sphinx and Pyramid.

dunno how many floor this place have.

it's chrismas time,so something like this is expected.

nothing much at that place cos you can see the usual shops that you can see at One Utama, Mid Valley,KLCC and Sunway Pyramid. this place have Crocs, Etude House, Sushi Groove, Mc Donald, and other stuff. the price is almost the same in Malaysia. but there are some good things that caught my eyes.
  • a stall that sells KPop goods. mostly Super Junior, DBSK, Big Bang and Lee Minho. cheaper than that DBSK shop at Times Square.
  • cheap cds for 75k rupiah only. Super Junior's album only cost about that price. 75k rupiah=rm19. cheap eh? how much is the cd in Malaysia? RM54. cis.
as good as the price is, i was saving myself to buy some souvenirs for my friends. so i didn't buy that Super Junior cd. i was regretting it by now. that cd even have 너라고!!!!!!!!

and around 6pm, we had dinner. my father said "ok.makan kat food court" blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. i persuaded him to eat something else cos i know people already bored with the Nasi Padang. so we went to this food place that sells food like Chicken Steak, Fish&Chips and Beef Steaks.it's not as posh as Victoria Station btw. it's something like Dave's Deli, but cheaper and less posh.

and bcos i craved for Chicken Chop, so i chose something that similar to it. price? only RM8.haha.

then, we went back to the hotel. nothing to do at that place. we watched THE ONLY CHANNEL in that room i.e StarWorld, and they showed Kings(2 episodes), World's Greatest Dog and Ugly Betty. i never watched Kings and Greatest Dog before, but both are interesting. after Ugly Betty, i went to sleep.

Day 5, which is the last day will be the part of the trip. to tell you the truth, i should add the last day in this part, but i'm too tired now. especially that my class started today, which, not really started anyway.

ta then!

ps: i had this conversation with my father about going to Liverpool. i told him that i wanna go there before i reach 23.he said "add another 10 years"

Bandung [day 3: jeans&Kampung Daun]

A'kum n ello..

so...

another post about Bandung.

before that, i remind you first the reason why i want to blog about this trip in a very detail way.

this blog is like talking about my past, my diary.when i become 50, i'll look back about what happen in this blog. maybe one day, i'll print my blog.

hopefully, Blogger won't go bankrupt or something that related with that cos all the things that i blog will be gone.

ok now.
Bandung [PART 3]

before that,
RAMUAN NENEK SIHIR!!!!!!
haha

on the 3rd day, around 9pm, we already prepared to go to whichever place my parents plan to go.

the night before that, the plan was going to Tangkuban Perahu, an active volcano that 30km north from Bandung. but my 2nd bro,Haikal, is really scared. he chickened out cos he scared of the earthquake that might happen and also maybe, that volcano will suddenly erupt, even though he doesn't even know that the lava already boiling up inside the volcano, but he still scared. so we had to change our plan to Kawah Putih,a crater at the south of Bandung. Noi recommended us to go there, cos there are no volcano even though it's a crater.
this is the Tangkuban Perahu.
This is the Kawah Putih.

obviously, Kawah Putih is more beautiful than Tangkuban Perahu. but Tangkuban Perahu is a volcano. Malaysia doesn't have any volcano. holiday means going to places that our home don't have. but still, somebody chickened out.

anyway, bcos the plan was change to Kawah Putih, i'm still happy. cos at least i can see something of Bandung other than the traffic jam, the 80% discount banner(as much as i like it), trolleys that sells Nasi Padang and also Kijang(it's Unser btw).

so, at 9pm, we already in front of the guesthouse. the Supir haven't arrive yet. the Supir suppose to be a punctual man,but he didn't. but still, 5minutes after that, he arrived.

oh btw, Noi didn't join us for this 2nd day trip. she hung out with her friends.

we didn't straight away go to Kawah Putih.instead, we went to Pasar Baru, something like Pasar Siti Khadijah at Kelantan. i tried to shut up my mouth while we were there. cos obviously people will know that i'm a Malaysian,so they won't try to fool us. but nope, maybe our clothes,or my aunt who did the talking that make people notice that we are Malaysians.

outside Pasar Baru

anyway, my aunt and aqilah did the shopping mostly. aqilah had to buy something for her relatives, and i saw her calculating quietly without us notice. haha. anyway, mostly, we bought telekungs and batiks. i got some to make baju kurung later, and i bought telekungs for acu and mak yang. only for mak yang cos she was the one who said she wants it.haha.

btw, that Pasar Baru got many guys that sell drinks and food. and they kinda like forcing us to buy it. and when they said "beli kak, beli." and when i looked at that guy, then looked at the things that he sell, he suddenly came to me. i was like blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com. he got near, and i ignore him. seriously, there are many guys like that. once you look at the things that they sell, they straight away come to you, demanded to buy anything that they sell. frightening really.

then, after the shopping, had lunch at Pasar Baru. i ordered Nasi Ayam, and aqilah ordered Nasi Ayam Balatak(not sure about this), but aqilah's is more expensive than mine.

then, about 1pm, we went to Toko Tiga. Toko means Shop(kedai). it was quite famous in Bandung. Toko Tiga mostly sells jeans.from Lea to Levis. again, i bought the branded stuff. haha.

and btw, this shop sells original jeans,so it is more expensive than the shop that i went to in Day 2, but it is cheaper than the one in Malaysia.

like this Levis jeans that i asked my father to buy for me. it cost about 299k rupiah, which is equal to RM78 in Malaysia. see how cheap it is??

and you know, i dunno if i got thinner or what, but my Levis measurement is 26, instead of 29.

yeah.maybe i got thin.hahaha.

at that shop alone, we spent more than 3 hours. and i think maybe bcos of my brothers, that really love jeans eventhough they have many jeans already, unlike me that have only 3 jeans, and 2 of them already 2 years of age. prayed at that shop with smokers behind me.
inside the Toko Tiga
raining baby~

oh, fyi, there are many female smokers in Bandung. too many, that you can even see it in the Musolla.

then, off we go, to i dunno where.

and bcos it was already 4pm,and it was raining heavily, so i asked my father, "are we going to Kawah Putih?" my father said "we can't. cos we don't have the time".

imagine please.

.
..
...
....

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comblogger-emoticon.blogspot.comblogger-emoticon.blogspot.com'

i was devastated. seriously. apart of being happy for having my 1st Levis jeans in my life, i was really, really upset.

but i tried to control it.

dunno if anybody notice tho.

my brother was the happiest when he heard that we're not going to Kawah Putih. he thought a crater is a volcano.

then, my father asked the Supir "any place that you know that we can do something and have a nice view?"

then the Supir said "Kampung Daun"

so my father said "Kampung Daun then"

40minutes after that, after surviving the horror of traffic jam, we arrived at Kampung Daun. and the view was breathtaking. it was awesome. i can't say if it's better than Kawah Putih or Tangkuban Perahu, cos i can't compare something that i haven't been to.

Kampung Daun is a restaurant,on a hill, that set in a natural place. Natural, as in a forest. a Hill,as in a High place.so the tables for you to eat is on the hill, and you walk uphill.it's like walking to my faculty, but with a nice view with me.

Natural, as in something like this:

we love nature, so obviously,we become together with the nature:

cool eh?

the food at that place is delicious IF you choose the right food. me, however, chose a wrong food. i chose this Nasi Bakar Sambal Belut. obviously, i thought the Belut(eel) will be like Unagi, as it is the same thing. and i also ordered this one cool drink called Italian Naughty Mocha.

BUT!

that Nasi Bakar Sambal Belut is actually, Nasi Bakar with BABY BELUT!! BABY, as in MINI BELUT!!!

no need to taste the soft inside of the eel as the eels don't even have any inside meat.

stupid rite?

again, i was devastated.
order.
after the dinner. we went home.

slept quite late after that cos i watched Liverpool vs Wolves after that. aqilah joined me watching it. and as much as i was happy that match ended with a win, i couldn't really enjoy myself for it cos my sister was being grumpy cos we disturb her sleep.

oh well.

at least Liverpool win.hoho.

Day4 will be later.

ta then!
